LAIDA’S ART
Laida Arcia Carro is a Cuban-American figurative artist with a Master’s Degree in Art Education who lives in Miami Florida. Her passion is drawing and guiding students of all ages through the practice of this two-dimensional basic skill in order to explore the world with imagination. The portrait and the human figure, from live models, are a constant theme in Laida’s art works.
For Laida, the fresh, unspoiled and natural approach of children’s creative expressions are a joy to motivate and considers their uninhibited approach to art a key factor to human artistic development that should inspire all adults.
Laida takes portrait commissions and works closely with the sitter. She also offers art workshops and seminaries to all student levels in Miami, Florida.
